There are two kinds of boat trips in Dalyan in general, which are organized by the tour companies located in Dalyan, and the boats you can rent privately to make your own trip. The first kind is the daily tours, whereas the second one is the sea tour.

The daily tours start at 10:30 AM for most of the companies. Starting with the boats leaving from the Dalyan port, the first stop of the daily tours is the Mud Bath that was once visited by Dustin Hoffman and Sting. Then the boat travels directly towards the lake of Köyceğiz. Accompanied by the reed bed, you arrive at the lake watching the birds hunting in the lake. Here they give you some time to swim in the lake. The tour company brings you back to the port for lunch break. Here you have your lunch.

The second tour in Dalyan is the sea tour. The captain steers the boat to the open sea, and your tour continues until the evening.

Delikli island; is located where the Dalyan delta meets the sea. It is right across the Iztuzu beach. It gets its name from the two holes located in the center of the island. There is a lighthouse on the island, where the yachts that cannot enter the canal cast anchor near its shore. The island serves as a jetty for Dalyan.

Delikli cape; is located west of Dalyan, and east of Ekincik cove. Having an opening in the center through where a small boat can pass, the Delikli cove is covered with the pine trees. It offers splendid views for underwater diving.

Bacardi and Lovers' coves; are located on the west coast of Dalyan, and are locations for relaxing and swimming in a sea, which happens to be one of the most beautiful seas you can swim in. You can swim to your heart's content here surrounded by the untouched natural beauties

Ekincik cove; is one of the most private coves located between Dalyan and Marmaris. It is almost like a sanctuary for the vacationers that had enough of the crowded vacation centers. The Ekincik cove is also one of the indispensable stops on the Blue Trip route. Ekincik cove is world famous, so when you cast anchor here you can possibly meet a famous movie star on the boat across from yours. Princess Caroline, Princess Margareth, media king Maxwell, Rockefeller, Robert Kennedy Jr., the famous actor Dustin Hoffman, or Sting, you name it!

Karaçay and Semisçe coves; are near the Ekincik cove. The captains make sure that they stop by at these coves when they are in the vicinity. While you swim between the other boats in a silent atmosphere in these coves, all you hear is the cry of the birds coming from the nearby forest.

The captains start this tour especially on the nights when the wind blows soft and warm. There are plenty of fun activities during these tours. The dinner is served on the boat, accompanied with the music. You can also swim in the lake during the tour. You come back at the port when the sun is rising after a whole night of fun and pleasure.
