The beauty mud bath is near the spot, where the lake of Köyceðiz meets the Dalyan delta. It is the first spot where the daily tours leaving from Dalyan pier stop by. Dustin Hoffman and Sting have also been here in the 90's. The building of facilities hasn't been allowed until now, where the mud naturally forms. This location is visited frequently; there hasn't been any scientific proof yet on the benefits of the mud that is smeared on the skin, but we are still going to inform you on what the locals would tell you about it.
As the saying goes, when the mud dries on your skin it makes it more supple, and it reduces the wrinkles after a few sessions. After your mud adventure, you dive in the hot water pool, again located inside the facility. It is said to cure rheumatism, lower back pains, and sciatica.
As far as we could observe, it is a fact that the mud does improve the physical appearance of the skin, and it is a huge attraction for the visiting tourists. They make jokes about each other's mud covered bodies, and take a lot of pictures. In our opinion, this is a fun activity, which makes the region more interesting for the visitors.
