The Agora ve The Stoa
The agora and the stoa are positioned along and the end of a road that runs parallel to the trade port, west of the monumental fountain. Statues and statue pedestals were discovered in this region. The holy temple area that is located on the manmade slope behind the stoa that belongs to the Hellenistic era dates back to the 2nd Century B.C.
The monumental fountain that is located near east of the stoa gets its name from the famous Roman Empire Vespasian. There is an epitaph south of the fountain. Records concerning customs' affairs are found on the epitaph, where Vespasian's name is also mentioned. The epitaph is a very important written document since it contains information relating to the commercial affairs of the era.
